Welcome girlfriends!

Girlfriends Unlimited is our women's ministry at Marysville Church of the Nazarene.  We want women to experince the amazing friendships God has for each of us, and we are so excited to have you join our group of girlfriends!

The Women's Ministry director is Kathy Heckendorf.  If you have questions about anything you see on this page, feel free to email her or give her a call at 360-653-8876.

Several times a year we host large themed events.  We also have a variety of small interest groups that you may want to be a part of.  Let us know what you're interested in and we'll help you get connected!

Small Interest Groups

• Precepts Bible Study- "Kinsmen Redeemer the book of Ruth".  Led by Linda Dippman.
  MONDAYS at 7:00 PM at the church
  TUESDAYS at 9:30 PM

• Sassy Scrappers - Scrapbooking group led by Celia Pawlak. We meet on the first and third Friday of every month. Don't miss out!  See the upcoming events below, we are very busy!  Have a question?  Need to RSVP for a class?  Contact Celia at mcnsassyscrappers@hotmail.com.

• First Place 4 Health - A 10 Week Christ-centered total wellness program led by Ginger Ropp and Janice Craig.  We meet at the church.
  WEDNESDAYS at 6:30 PM
  SUNDAYS at 11:00 AM

• Flicker Chicks - Movie group led by Amber Nichols.  We meet occasionally to watch movies and eat popcorn.  Stay tuned for our next event!

• Divine Knitters/Crocheters - led by Ginger Ropp. Do you knit or crochet? Or both? Come join us as we get our "knit" on. Contact the church for more information.

• Heart Sisters - Sign up to be assigned to a heart sister, to befriend and encourage through everything that life may throw your way.  Facilitated by Sharon Mocek.

• Cuisine Queens - Cooking group.  Chocolate nights, cooking classes, we always have lots of fun! Led by Laura Stigen and Melissa Priel.

• Lit-n-Latte Book Club- led by Sue Leber, Nancy Johnson and Betse Beck. We will be reading "Bo's Cafe" by John Lynch, Bill Thrall and Bruce McNicol.  Join us on January 28th at 7:00 PM at the Johnson's house.

• Moms Connect- Led by Tonya Lafevor. Moms and their kids age 6 and under will meet the first Thursday of very month from 10:00-11:00 AM at the church and the third Thursday at various locations in the area with times varying according to where we are going. Check the Girlfriends Table in the foyer for more information.

• Walking Club- Walking with Leslie Sansone (DVD) led by Amber Nichols.

• Zumba
  TUESDAYS at 6:30 PM SATURDAYS at 10:00 AM
  THURSDAYS beginning Feb. 4th @ 5:00 PM at the church, cost is $5 per class or purchase a punch card!
