Small Group Ministry

In casting a vision for community care groups (small group studies) we recognize pastoral care is difficult and nearly impossible for one man to accomplish over the entire congregation. We believe this care happens best in a small, close community. Following the model given by the early church in the book of Acts (see Acts 2: 42-47) we have developed groups that meet at various times during the week. The primary purpose of these groups is to Love God and Love others, to develop a close loving relationship with each other that is safe, confidential and nurturing. We invite you to come and share your life experiences, in doing so you will be a blessing to others. Likewise as others share their lives you will be richly blessed. So come and be loved and love others, be a blessing and be blessed, encourage one another and become encouraged. We are not on life’s journey alone, let’s do life together!

Are you walking so close to Christ that the dust of his feet is intermingled with yours? “As disciples of Jesus, we’ve discovered that following him demands a passion for the text and a complete devotion to Christian community. A disciple is consumed with a passion to be like the Rabbi—Jesus.  Come and discover the passion of our early Christian brothers and sisters.  Follow in their footprints, as they loved the Messiah with all their heart, all their soul, and all their might – every moment of every day.” The Matheson’s meet on Wednesday’s at 1:00.
