Welcome!

It is our hope in the children's department at Marysville Church of the Nazarene that kids would be drawn to an authentic life-changing relationship with Christ. We are committed to:

RELATIONAL settings in which student to student interaction enhances learning and helps kids build positive Christian friendships;

EXPERIENTIAL settings where kids will not only “hear”, but touch, feel, taste, and smell God's goodness;

APPLICABLE settings so our kids are excited about living their faith

from the inside out; and

LEARNER BASED settings that take into account that God created each of us as unique individuals who may learn best differently.

When all of these things come together the results can be amazing! Rock solid kids, little spiritual champions who can do incredible things for God. I am convinced that our kids are NOT the church of tomorrow, but they ARE the church of today and I am passionate about helping them discover God's amazing plan for their lives!

What do my kids do on Sundays....?

Whether your attends our first or second worship hour, we've got your kids covered with and exciting worship and discipleship program aimed at developing them into “Solid Rock” stars for God!

KIDS CHURCH

Sundays 9:30AM -10:45AM

Kids age 3-grade 6 start off in a large group setting in our multi-purpose room with some high energy praise and worship music. We introduce the “Worship Theme” for the day, review our Bible Memory challenge verse, give back to God (offering), and spend time in prayer together. We split into smaller groups for our “learn the point” hands on activities. Our time together ends with a snack before check-out!

KIDS CHURCH with Kid Small Groups

Sundays, 11:00AM – 12:15PM

Kids age 3 – grade 3 meet in our multi-purpose room for 30 minutes of high-energy praise and worship, our “Shout it Out” worship theme introduction, a children's sermon, Bible Memory Challenge, offering and prayer. Then we break up into “FAITHWEAVER BIBLE CREWS” (kids small groups) for about 40 minutes of some awesome discipleship teaching and application of our lesson. Crews and their leaders meet down our children's wing in their own classroom. “FAITHWEAVER BIBLE CREWS” return to our multipurpose room for a snack before check-out.

Teens in Training

Grades 4 – 6

Sundays 11:00AM – 12:15PM

The “big kids” in our children's department meet every Sunday for an awesome Bible study just for them! This explosive group of kids talk about real challenges facing todays pre-teens and discover what the Bible has to say about it. Oh yeah…they also have a blast playing games, eating, hanging out and you know…doing “pre-teen” stuff! Watch for details on upcoming T-‘n-T events and activites.
