Pastor Kari grew up here at MCN. At an early age she felt God's call to serve His church, and loved growing up in a family immersed in music ministry. Since 2002 her ministry assignments have included Worship Leader positions at both the SkyValley and Mount Vernon Church of the Nazarene, as well as in Church Administration. In 2007 she felt God leading her into the area of Children's Ministry back here at MCN. She is a student through Nazarene Bible College online program.

Pastor Kari and her husband Dan are high school sweethearts who met right here at MCN Youth Group. They have two extraordinarily, amazingly, incredibly, rockin' kids, Sophia Rose (6) and Wyatt Austin (13 mo). Pastor Kari's "other" passion (job) is as a hair stylist which fills most of her "free" time.
The Wheelers love going to Silvertips games, rockin' out to Guitar Hero, racing on Mario Kart, all things NASCAR, and spending time outdoors at home with Porter (dog), Dixie (pony), Henry (goat), and Angel (goat).
